“THE TRUE ESSENCE OF BEING HUMAN” 1300 x 1300 mm Oil Painting on board 2018
Colourful, expressive, metaphorical and existential: People, identity, perceptions, objects, context and place in our conflicted, biased and a prejudiced world are the components of Gigli art, he aims to portray the ‘cultural pluralism’. characterized by a sense of disorientation, confusion, or dread in the face of an apparently meaningless or absurd world. The actual life of the individual is what constitutes what could be called their "true essence" instead of there being an attributed essence others use to define them. Thus, human beings, through their own consciousness, create their own values and determine a meaning to their life.
